By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, and our AI Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect limited information necessary to operate the Services, provide requested features, and improve performance.

2.1 Personal Information

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

• Account login credentials (such as username and hashed password, if applicable)
• Billing and payment information (processed by our payment provider, Stripe)

2.2 Technical and Usage Data

When you use the Services, certain information is collected automatically, including:

• Referring URLs and pages viewed
• Date/time of visits and interactions with site elements
• Performance and security logs generated by our infrastructure providers (e.g., Cloudflare, Vercel)

We do not collect precise device GPS data and we no longer use geolocation for weather or other location-based features.

2.3 User-Generated and Project Content

When you upload, submit, or input content into Clemelopy (for example, text, data, or files used to generate outputs, reports, or PDFs), we process that content to provide the Services, including AI-powered features and document generation.

Content you choose to save within your account (e.g., "My Projects") may be stored so you can view, edit, download, or reuse it later.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• To operate, maintain, and provide the Services and their core functionality
• To authenticate and manage user accounts, including sign-in with Google where you choose to use that option
• To personalize or improve user experience and interface functionality
• To process payments and manage subscriptions or purchases (via Stripe)
• To send administrative and support communications, such as updates, security alerts, and responses to your inquiries
• To send marketing emails and newsletters where permitted by law and your preferences (via MailerLite)
• To analyze usage and performance (using tools like GA4) so we can maintain and improve the Services
• To enforce our Terms of Use, AI Terms, and other agreements
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from authorities

We may also aggregate or de-identify data so it can no longer reasonably be linked to a specific individual and use that information for analytics, product development, and business purposes.

• Strictly necessary cookies to enable core site functionality and security

• Vercel – Hosting and deployment infrastructure for the web application
• Supabase – Authentication, database, and storage services for user accounts and project content
• Google – Google Sign-In for authentication and Google Analytics 4 for usage analytics and site metrics
• Stripe – Secure payment processing and billing
• MailerLite – Email campaigns, newsletter delivery, and marketing automation
• OpenAI – AI-powered functionality and content generation based on user inputs

We may also share information:

• To comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Clemelopy, our users, or the public
• In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections

6. AI and Data Handling

Certain features of the Services use artificial intelligence models to generate text, recommendations, or other outputs based on user inputs. When you use these features:

• Your prompts, inputs, and related context may be transmitted to our AI provider (currently OpenAI) for processing and returning an output.
• We do not sell or license your prompts or outputs to third parties.
• We do not allow our AI provider to use your data for their own advertising or marketing.
• Inputs and outputs may be stored in your Clemelopy projects where you choose to save them.

You are responsible for ensuring your inputs comply with our Terms of Use and AI Terms and do not include sensitive personal data.

7. Data Minimization and Sensitive Information

Clemelopy is designed as a low-data, cloud-based SaaS platform. We do not intentionally request or require sensitive personal information, such as:

• Social Security numbers or other government identifiers
• Financial account numbers beyond what is handled by Stripe
• Health or medical information
• Biometric data
• Information about children under 13

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the Services you request
• Maintain your account
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations
• Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

Examples:

• Account and billing information may be retained as required for recordkeeping and legal compliance.
• AI inputs and outputs are generally processed transiently and are not retained beyond the active session unless you save them in your projects.
• We may retain logs and security-related data for a limited period for security and fraud-prevention purposes.

When information is no longer required, we will delete or de-identify it in accordance with our data retention practices.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including:

• Encryption in transit via HTTPS/TLS
• Access-controlled infrastructure and databases
• Use of reputable cloud providers (such as Vercel, Supabase, and Cloudflare) with security measures in place

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You use the Services at your own risk and should take appropriate steps to protect your own information (such as using strong passwords and enabling available security features).
